With nearly 25 years of network experience owner and creative director of Cornick Productions Gareth Cornick has executive produced over 170 hours of specialist factual and fact ent content. In development he’s created successful shows for Amazon, BBC, Channel 4, Nat Geo, UKTV and Discovery. In the U.S. he’s worked with Science Channel, Nat Geo Wild, Weather Channel and Discovery. As showrunner Gareth has worked with all major UK broadcasters, SVODs and US factual channels to not only create successful first seasons, but to steward big brand shows. To date, Gareth’s biggest success is developing and producing 10 seasons of ‘Outrageous Acts of Science’, US Science Channel’s hit show. His latest outing was helming the sci/eng mega-budget Amazon show ’The Great Escapists’ and Channel 4 doc ‘A Very British Space Launch’. Ever since training as a Physics teacher Gareth has been hellbent on bringing science to the masses. Gareth hopes that Cornick Productions will enable him to make even bigger, more ambitious and popular factual TV shows.
